    Alternative text: With its architetural symmetry, it's myriad towers-on-top-of-towers and crenellations, Conwy may well be the most castle-y of all of the fortresses in Edward I's "ring of iron" around Wales. The walls around the old part of the city are pretty impressive, too. I sorta played tourist today, just carrying one small camera and lens instead of the usual "artist/photographer" pile of gear - tripod, lenses, etc. The place was crawling with tourists, so it was kinda fun to see it from their perspective.
